James Milner has certainly put an end to claims that he is boring in recent years.
The midfielder has taken to social media on multiple occasions with light-hearted, funny gags – essentially rubbishing rumours he has a ‘vanilla’ character.
Milner has responded brilliantly to the news that Henderson’s wife has given birth
And he was at it again on Saturday with a hilarious response to the news that Jordan Henderson’s wife had given birth.
The Liverpool captain’s wife, Rebecca Burnett, gave birth to their third child exactly nine months after the Reds produced one of the greatest second leg comebacks in Champions League history when they beat Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield en route to winning a sixth European Cup.
Milner brilliantly replied with ‘Origi assist’ – a tribute to his Liverpool teammate Divock Origi who scored the decisive goal in the clash.
You can see the response below…
The Belgian, who has become a cult hero at Anfield for scoring a series of important goals off the bench, netted the opening goal early on at Anfield to make it 3-1 on aggregate.
And after Georginio Wijnaldum fired a double, Origi was on hand again to hit the winner late on from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s quickly-taken corner.
