I never understood this shtick. I know they all do it to some extent, but Jimmy Fallon is the worst offender. Why do they have to play it out everything like it’s just spontaneously happening? It’s an entertainment show… they book entertainment. Why does it need to seem like they booked casual conversations that all coincidentally turn into spontaneous performances? Would it somehow be less entertaining if she was like, “hey I brought a guitar, wanna see me play a song behind my head?” Would people be like, “ahh, it’s so lame when people who make their living based on their public image actually practice something before a public appearance! This show is getting way too genuine, I’m out.”
I know it’s such a small thing to gripe about, but it’s just so ridiculous. lol
