An outbreak at a Hello Fresh warehouse in Edmonton has led to 35 cases of COVID-19.

Jonathan Motha-Pollock, a spokesman for Hello Fresh, said the company contacted Alberta Health Services the day it learned of the first positive test. He said it began contact tracing and all close contacts of positive tests were sent home on 14-day paid sick leave.
We take this situation very seriously and are doing everything in our power to continue to deliver fresh food to the doorsteps of Canadians, said Motha-Pollock in an email.
He said the company is continuing to work with health authorities to ensure it is following public health recommendations.
The warehouse is one of 24 active outbreaks in the Edmonton Zone.
An outbreak at the Millwoods Long Term Care Centre has been linked to cases in 28 residents and 16 staff, said a Friday update on the Shepherds Care Foundation website. Three residents have died from the outbreak.
Of the 16 staff members, 12 are Shepherds Care employees, two are placement students and two are Aramark staff. One staff member has recovered.
The province announced 122 new cases on Friday, bringing the number of active cases to 1,558. The Edmonton Zone continues to have the highest number of infections with 835.
