Catalan newspaper Sport claims Arturo Vidal will be an Inter player on Monday or Tuesday after terminating his Barcelona contract.
The midfielder has been told to find another club by new coach Ronald Koeman, so rather than negotiate a fee, his contract at Camp Nou is terminated a year early by mutual consent.
According to Sport, they are down to the details and he should fly to Milan for a medical on Monday or Tuesday.
Vidal has already agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri, despite dropping hints he’d like a return to Juventus as well, and will be reunited with former Bianconeri coach Antonio Conte.
It’s reported that although Vidal will leave as a free agent, Barcelona could ask for a similar situation to when Ivan Rakitic joined Sevilla, asking for a minor payment from Inter.
