Chelsea midfielder Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has revealed that the Italy international might be open to reunite with Maurizio Sarri at Juventus.
The former Napoli coach brought his former pupil to Stamford Bridge during his only season in London and the Brazilian-born 28-year-old continues to do well under Frank Lampard this term.
But his agent hinted that Jorginho could be looking for a move back to Italy when the Bianconeri were mentioned as possible suitors for the creative midfielder.
“Why not? I am sure that some big offers will arrive,” Santos told Tuttomercatoweb. “We would obviously evaluate it together with Chelsea.”
Jorginho earned his €57m move to the Blues after some impressive performances under Sarri at the Partenopei and could be targeted by the former Empoli boss yet again.
But the player’s agent has revealed that Jorginho is only concerned about his shape ahead of a busy summer with Italy in Euro 2020.
“His goal is to do well and arrive at the European Championship in the best shape possible for the national side,” Santos told Tuttomercatoweb. “There are great expectations around Roberto Mancini’s team.
“The Euro is also a good showcase for him personally. He is doing very well at Chelsea and I’m sure that there will come some big offers. There aren’t many players of his level playing in that position.”
Jorginho has previously claimed that he wants to be remembered as a Chelsea player in his own right and not only Sarri’s protégé.
