If all you soft-hands city folk want to see how real workin people play a video game, Farming Simulator 19 is the latest free game available through the Epic Games Store.
In Farming Simulator 19, players may develop and expand their back 40 in a variety of American and European settings. They can stack hay, clean stables, and bush-hog pastures, which wasnt all that entertaining when I did it as a teenager.
Note that this is not the latest edition of Farming Simulator; this one came out at the end of 2018, because Farming Simulator, like Madden, FIFA, NBA 2K, and other sports titles, always numbers itself one year into the future. Farming Simulator 19 likewise has dozens of official licensing partners, mainly on the combines, tractors, pickers, and other vehicles that maintain your spread.
Farming Simulator 19 is available from now until Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. EST. After that, Epic will give out three board-game adaptations Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, and Pandemic. All three were published by Asmodee Digital.
Earlier this month, Epic announced that it would continue giving away free games through the end of 2020. Last year, Epic gave out more than 70 titles in a promotion that helped it amass more than 100 million users.
