Inter have announced Ashley Young has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Nerazzurri confirmed another case of coronavirus in the squad ahead of the Derby della Madonnina against Milan on October 17.
“FC Internazionale Milano announce that Ashley Young tested positive for COVID-19 following the tests carried out yesterday at Appiano Gentile,” the statement read.
“The English player is already in quarantine at home.”
Young moved to Inter from Manchester United in January and is the sixth player to test positive ahead of the Milan match.
Alessandro Bastoni, Milan Skriniar, Radja Nainggolan, Roberto Gagliardini and Ionut Radu are already on the list of absentees with COVID-19.
