Juventus have allegedly opened talks with Kaio Jorge’s representatives regarding a €14.5m deal for the Santos starlet.
The Brazilian striker scored in the first Copa Libertadores match against Hernan Crespo’s Defensa y Justicia, helping Santos to a 2-1 win in Argentina.
The 18-year-old has attracted attention after scoring six goals in 10 games for Brazil Under-17 but has so far only played four games in the Brazilian League.
The Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira has reported that Fabio Paratici has offered Santos a loan deal worth €0.5m with an obligation of signing the player on a permanent transfer of €14m.
Schira writes that Jorge’s lack of a European passport could make the deal complicated, but the Old Lady are already trying to secure a deal through his mother and manager Athena Karina, with the agent Giuliano Bertolucci involved in the potential deal.
