The 20 Serie A sides returned from lockdown in June to finish the campaign and restarted the new season in September.
But daily new cases continue to emerge in Italian football and keep creating problems for the fixture list.
“We knew that the COVID problem would come back with the autumn,” Inzaghi said, according to Tuttomercatoweb. “Now we are more ready and attentive to the precautions.
“We must continue knowing that we will have to live with it. As long as there’s no vaccine, we will have to move on.
“The championship can’t be stopped.”
