Leicester City have officially signed Cengiz Under, who moves from Roma on loan with an option to buy.
The Foxes have signed the Turkey international on a €3m paid loan with an option to buy for €24m next summer.
“The club can confirm that Cengiz Under has today completed a move to English club Leicester City,” the Giallorossi wrote in a statement.
“The 23-year-old joins the Premier League side on a temporary loan basis until June 30, 2021.
“As part of the agreement, Leicester also have the option to make the transfer permanent ahead of the 2021-22 season.”
Under leaves Roma after having played 88 competitive games for La Lupa.
“Three years ago, when I walked through this door, I came for a great challenge,” Under wrote on Twitter.
“During my time here, I loved not only AS Roma, but also the city of Rome, the culture, the people of this wonderful city.
“I’m sincerely thankful to all the fans, for the love and support they shared with me since my first moment here.
“After our unique time together, I have a new challenge ahead of me.”
