CENTER
Nazem Kadri, COL (at OTT) — He has six points (three goals, three assists) and nine shots on goal in his past three games skating on the second line with forwards Valeri Nichushkin and Andre Burakovsky, who has 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in his past eight games. Kadri and Burakovsky form an intriguing stacking option against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.
WING
Mike Hoffman, FLA (vs. VGK) — He has 15 points (six goals, nine assists) and 36 SOG in his past 13 games skating on the top power play with Jonathan Huberdeau, Evgenii Dadonov, Keith Yandle and Vincent Trocheck. Hoffman has been one of the Panthers most consistent forwards in DFS contests and is worth rostering as a standalone option against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday.
Mason Appleton, WPG (at STL) — He has two goals and eight SOG in his past four games mostly skating in the top six with Blake Wheeler and Nikolaj Ehlers. Appleton is among the cheaper options in FanDuel DFS contests and brings high-end exposure as a value play against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday.
DEFENSEMAN
Jeff Petry, MTL (vs. ANA) — He has five points (one goal, four assists) and 13 SOG in his past five games skating on the top power play with forwards Brendan Gallagher, Phillip Danault, Nick Suzuki and Tomas Tatar. Petry gains value with three blocks over the same span and has a favorable matchup against the Anaheim Ducks, who have scored the second fewest goals in the NHL (132).
GOALIE
Brian Elliott, PHI (vs. NJD) — He’s 4-0-1 including two shutouts and a .935 save percentage in his past five games. Elliott has a favorable matchup against the New Jersey Devils, who are expected to be without No. 1 center Nico Hischier (lower body) and defenseman Sami Vatanen (lower body) on Thursday.
