FANTASY TEAM POWER RANKINGS FOR 2019-20
Fantasy owners should use these rankings as a basis for player/team evaluation in waiver-wire adds, drops and DFS streaming options. Factors taken into account include positional depth, power-play, lineup and injury trends, team security and overall upside for the rest of the 2019-20 season in standard leagues.

NOTE
: Rookie goalie Igor Shesterkin (rib) could return to the lineup against the the New Jersey Devils on Saturday or the Dallas Stars on Tuesday. The Rangers will likely give Shesterkin, who is 9-1-0 with a .940 save percentage, the majority of starts for the rest of the season. The Rangers remain in the top five despite the injury to left wing Chris Kreider (out 4-6 weeks).
6. Colorado Avalanche (+2)Players in top 200: 6
NOTE
: Goalie Pavel Francouz is making the case to be the No. 1 option for the Avalanche, even when Philipp Grubauer (lower body) returns; Francouz is 6-0-1 with a .945 save percentage and one shutout in his past seven appearances.
7. Washington Capitals (-1)Players in top 200: 10
NOTE
: Veteran wing Ilya Kovalchuk had three points (one goal, two assists) and four shots on goal in their 6-5 overtime loss to the Rangers on Thursday. Kovalchuk is worth holding despite third-line placement at even strength.

NOTE
: Rookie defenseman John Marino has one goal, four hits and two blocks in two games since returning from injury. Marino is worth adding in standard leagues with even-strength exposure to forwards Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Bryan Rust.

: Center Phillip Danault is a viable streaming option with seven points (one goal, six assists) and 15 SOG in his past seven games.
