Parma have made their first signing of the summer, bringing in young defender Lautaro Valenti from Argentine side Lanus.
A statement on Parma’s official website confirms Valenti has joined on loan with obligation to buy, putting pen to paper on a contract until 2025.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the purchase option is worth around €8m.
The 21-year-old left-footer arrives from Lanus after a breakout 2019-20 campaign, during which he scored three goals in 24 appearances.
He becomes the first signing of the Kyle Krause era at Parma, the tycoon only completing his takeover of the club last week.
