Roma are reportedly unhappy with their coach Paulo Fonseca for an interview he realized with without the club’s agreement.
The Portuguese coach spoke with Record earlier this week and complained about some choices of the club during the last transfer window.
“I am always an optimistic person, but I also acknowledge the reality that there are teams in Serie A with greater stability and who invested far more than Roma,” he said.
“Don’t forget, Roma also didn’t have a director of sport for months, so that influenced our negotiation capability too.”
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are not happy Fonseca released an interview that had not been agreed with the club and that during the interview he once again highlighted the lack of a director of sport at the club.
The Italian paper claims that if Roma fail to beat Benevento tonight, Fonseca’s job could be in danger.
