Im honestly unsure what blows my mind more about this –
Option A: This was a tone deaf and unintentional bad choice by Walmart.
Option B: Walmart, seeing how Amazon and other corporations are seeing immense profit due to the pandemic, is taking the all press is good press approach.
I dont want to sound like a conspiracy theory nutjob here, and I acknowledge this can be a case of coincidence/confirmation bias. I also feel like Ive seen a big jump in videos of people in Walmart in the front page lately. My gut says this is an example of option b.
