Hospitalization rates remain low with 46 people in hospital, six of whom are in intensive care. In total, 6,722 Albertans have recovered from COVID-19.
In the Edmonton zone, there are 112 active cases, and 498 people have recovered. The majority of cases in the province continue to be in the Calgary zone, with 210.
To date, 577 cases have an unknown exposure. A total of 151 people have died from COVID-19, including 13 in the Edmonton zone.
Continuing care facilities report 29 active cases and 690 recovered cases. A total of 116 facility residents have died.

According to the World Health Organization, there were 7,039,918 confirmed cases worldwide as of Tuesday, and 404,396 deaths due to COVID-19. In Canada, 96,244 cases have been confirmed, with 7,835 deaths.
