Hellas Verona have confirmed Koray Gunter has tested positive for coronavirus.
The Gialloblu defender, who has played three games so far in Serie A, tested positive for COVID-19 and was placed in quarantine.
“Hellas Verona FC announce that – during the checks provided for by the current prototocl – Koray Gunter’s tested positive for COVID-19,” the statement read.
“The club promptly placed the player in home isolation, activating all the procedures provided for by the protocol in force.
“The other members of the team group have all tested negative.”
