One man has been shot dead and another man has been found with gunshot wounds in Sydneys inner west.A police spokeswoman told news.com.au the deceased man’s wounds had been assessed and it appears as those he was also shot.
NSW Police earlier advised the man, believed to be aged in his 30s, “was found with a stab wound to his chest” on Henry St in Lewisham just after 1pm on Friday and died on the way to hospital.
The second man was located on adjoining Victoria St and is being treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
Speaking to reporters about the first incident, NSW Police Chief Inspector Despa Fitzgerald said it was being treated as “suspicious”.
