Massimo Moratti would take Lionel Messi or Paulo Dybala for Lautaro Martinez and dismissed Juventus’ vow not to accept an assigned Scudetto.
Moratti has long campaigned for Messi’s arrival at Inter if he ever left Barcelona, and he reiterated that stance 10 years to the day since the Nerazzurri won the first part of their historic 2010 Treble.
Failing that, the 74-year-old also recommended another Argentine star.
“If Messi arrives, great,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“And if Leo is impossible, I’d like Dybala instead of ‘Toro’.”
Andrea Agnelli has liked two tweets from Juve fans that read they would refuse the Serie A title if it was offered to them, one of which stated the Old Lady were ‘not’ their arch-rivals.
The latter was a reference to when the Beneamata accepted the Scudetto in 2006 with Moratti as President, after it was stripped from the Bianconeri due to Calciopoli.
“There’s a very slight difference. Back then, it was cheating. Now, it’s a virus that has paralysed the planet.”
