Milan are leaning towards confirming Rade Krunic for the 2020-21 season, turning down the SC Freiburg offer worth €8m.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, coach Stefano Pioli and the club are not ready to sell the Bosnia-Herzegovina international.
Krunic had been on the market, having played very little since his €8m move from Empoli last summer.
However, the difficulties had in finding a replacement and Chelsea refusing to lower their asking price for Tiemoue Bakayoko, could see a turnaround.
Krunic is considered a valuable squad player for Pioli to count on, especially for his versatility, as he can play in the two-man midfield or in a more advanced role.
