Of the conditions of Marriage in Islam is that it is a permanent contract which can only be dissolved in the case of divorce, either Talaaq (male initiated) or Khul’a (female initiated).
If you enter the marriage with the intention of divorce at a specified future date, this voids the marriage.
Also, once a woman is divorced, she has to observe the ‘iddah (period of waiting), in the case of a “normal” divorce, this period is 3 months. This of course would ruin the business if you can only have a maximum of 4 marriages a year.
Finally and most importantly, mut’ah marriage was explicitly forbidden by the Prophet during the Battle of Khaybar.
