Newcastle have been left deeply embarrassed by the release of an official 2020 calendar which features players who left the club during the summer.
In a series of blunders, the official merchandise includes pictures of Ayoze Perez, Salomon Rondon and Kenedy.
Perez and Rondon feature heavily in the calendar – including on the front page
Perez, who left the Magpies for Leicester in July, actually scored against Newcastle earlier this month and celebrated, much to the fury of many inside St James’ Park.
With Perez the cover star for January, Newcastle’s blunder couldn’t be more unfortunate.
The desk calendar, which would’ve been a popular stocking filler for Christmas, also features an image of the players wearing last season’s away kit.

According to the Telegraph, senior officials at the club have been left embarrassed but have not issued a formal apology to supporters who purchased the product.
They admit the calendar was not up to scratch and failed to go through proper quality control before going on sale, with an internal investigation launched to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
The poor quality product is not in keeping with Newcastle’s other official merchandise, which is usually of a high standard.
The calendar also features an image of Kenedy celebrating in an old kit
Indeed, the official wall calendar only features players who actually belong to the club.
The Telegraph explains the desktop calendar is produced under licence by another company, Danilo, who require the images to be sent to them at the end of June.
