Milan are trying to work out a discounted deal for Alexis Saelemaekers, who has reportedly expressed his wish to make the move from Anderlecht permanent.
CEO Ivan Gazidis is hoping to reduce the price tag of their obligation with conditions to buy the player for €3.5m, as the club already paid €3.5m to bring the player on loan to San Siro in January.
The right midfielder has played twice in Serie A for the Diavolo after his move from the Jupiler Pro League this winter and his contract at Anderlecht expires in June 2022.
Gazidis has plans to build a young team with sustainable expenses and as Alexis settled in rather quickly, Anderlecht are, according to Calciomercato.com, prepared to give the club a discount on the €3.5m agreed in January.
The report claims Saelemaekers has already expressed his wish to stay at the Rossoneri and that Anderlecht are preparing to grant his wish.
