Former White House counselor Kellyanne Conway announced Friday that she has tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus.
“Tonight I tested positive for COVID-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and Im feeling fine. I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians,” Conway wrote on Twitter.
“As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic,” she added.

Conway is the seventh person who attended Judge Amy Coney Barretts Supreme Court nomination ceremony at the White House to test positive for the virus. Other attendees who contracted the illness are: President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT), University of Notre Dame President John Jenkins, and an unnamed White House reporter.
